We all know the
American actress, Tara Reid, for her notable roles as Bunny Lebowski
in The Big Lebowski, Pussycat Melody in Josie and the Pussycats.
Her Childhood
The famous actress of America was born on November 8, 1975 to a
loving couple Tom and Donna Reid in Wycoff, New Jersey. Her brother,
Tommy Reid, is also in the entertainment industry and manages a
production company of his own.
Her talent led her to some commercials like Jell-O and McDonalds at
the age of five. This was her first break. At the age of six, she
signed a children’s game show, Child’s Play and later on joined the
Professional Children's School in New York. Among his notable
friends here included Macaulay Culkin, Jerry O'Connell, Sarah
Michelle Gellar and Ben Taylor.
Her Career
Her first movie debut “A Return to Salem's Lot” released in the year
1987 in which she played a very small role. Her first full time role
in TV was on Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1994. After this
she signed a few small roles. She became famous in 1998 after her
role as Bunny, in The Big Lebowski.
In the late 1990s Reid spent most of her time appearing on the cover
of tabloid magazines rather than on screen. Her overenthusiastic
social life soon earned her a status and a name as a party girl. She
has been recently voted as "top party animal" by U.S. magazine - In
Touch Weekly.
Tara Reid collapses in a Christmas party! December 21, 2007
The reason? If you believe the tabloids, take your pick from drug overdose, too much alcohol intake, exhaustion from back to back partying, etc, etc. According to reports, Tara Reid collapsed at a Christmas party in Bali over the weekend. The starlet was in Bali after completing a promotional tour of Australia, where she hosted the Hooker's Ball in Darwin. Witnesses say the actress was rushed to a local hospital, where she was treated for cuts and bruises stemming from the fall. Tara Reid was released immediately. To clear up the rumors, OK! magazine called up the now-buff actress and she said she was far from either a hospital or Bali. "I'm in Italy right now. Relaxing and getting ready to spend Christmas with some friends," Tara Reid explained. As for the Bali incident, she was really there for a photo shoot to be featured in the pages of an upcoming issue of OK! - and the actress did see a doctor. She confesses, "I slipped at the pool. I saw a physician and I'm fine." There you go, mystery cleared up! =)
Tara Reid hosts Hooker's Ball! December 4, 2007
Surprised?? I'm not, lol! If you happened to be in Darwin, Australia last December 2, you would have heard of Discovery nightclub's naughty party hosted by Tara Reid. The "Taradise" star was apparently chosen by the club's hospitality manager, Guy Dunne. Mr. Dunne told the media, "We thought Tara Reid would be a great choice. It's a very naughty night and an opportunity to put your inhibitions down. It's a night like your 'pimps and prostitutes' or sleaze balls, and it's just a night of less is best. I believe Tara and her people were very enthusiastic to come here." According to rumors, Tara Reid will be dressing up as a prostitute and judging a wet t-shirt contest. Well, nothing new there, lol! What's new is that instead of getting her usual "inflated price of $25,000 to $35,000 per promotional appearance", Tara Reid was "offered the bargain-basement price of about $3500 to turn up for the parties this week." OUCH! But just so you'd know, the 34-year old partygirl actress is still game about it! It's a party with plenty of booze after all!
Tara Reid loses to rock stars! October 9, 2007
Loses in what, you ask? Well, we all know about Tara Reid’s wild party girl rep right? She goes to a party/club, dances and drinks all night long, and goes out wasted. The paparazzi, as always, alert and ready to take pictures of Tara in her most unflattering drunk poses. Tsk! Anyway, this time, Tara Reid met her match. Or maybe, she’s just not the party girl she used to be. After all, she’s 31 years old already! Apparently the sexy star spent a drunken night out with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee (Pamela Anderson’s ex)) and other band members. Tara Reid admitted she could not maintain her party girl rep during their night out. What, she passed out? The American Pie star did not elaborate but she shared, “The most rock 'n roll thing I've done has to be going on tour with Motley Crue for a couple of days. That was pretty crazy.” Viva la Tara! Hehe!
